I wanted to create an illustration of myself and my dad playing video games. He was the one who made me who I am as an artist today. He made me love video games and animation. He always supported me when I wanted to study arts. He was always there for me and I lost him 4 months ago to cancer. It really devastated me and I am still trying to recover from it. Creating an illustration in the memory of him definitely made me feel better.
First, exercises: texture and style studies. (The photo is of me, my mom and my dad on my first birthday party <3 )
Last, final piece: a tribute to my dad.
